Here is some information about the different tools and platforms we will use in this course.

The course homepage

All information regarding the course is available and will be continuously announced here on our course homepage. It´s built on the open source software WordPress. During the course we will run several live events in form of webinars.

Webinars with Zoom

All webinars will be held on the platform Zoom. In order to participate, simply click the provided link for each meeting and enter as a guest, stating your name. You should not be required to install a program. The webinars provide an opportunity to interact with your instructors and classmates to discuss and ask questions. Participation in the webinars is optional.

Please have a functioning webcam and headset connected for the webinars.

Canvas – for officially registered students

Officially registered students need to hand in an assignment for each module of the course in Canvas. Once registered on “My page” on kau.se you should have automatically access to the course on Canvas. Note that you need to have a StudentID or KauID in order to access both Canvas and “My page” as well as most other IT systems at Karlstad University.
