Using attention matrics and number of clicks, Factbite reviews the top 10 most shared/read articles/clicked on headlines each day across various platforms and sends a push notification inviting users to a daily quiz that evaluates the factfulness of what they have seen.
The quiz could be sent out twice a day, depending on the user’s activity. Compared to ideas that have a credibility score displayed in real-time, this idea instead challenges those readers/viewers that want to believe in fake news or sensationalised stories and challenges their perceptions of what they have read or viewed. The quiz should offer a link for the reader/viewer to a more factful story of the answers they answered poorly or incorrectly.
