What happened so far?
Taking part in the ONL181 open networked learning course provided me with an excellent excuse to upgrade my Hardware with a proper headset and webcam. I spent a joyful couple of hours setting everything up and tweaking things.
Establishing a blob being one of the key-components seems simple at first glance. Setting it up properly, on the other hand turns out to be quite challenging. I find myself dealing with a series of questions
- How much interactivity am I willing and able to moderate?
- Should I maintain a fixed schedule of posting or only post if I have something significant to share?
- How important are metrics e.g. page views etc.?
- to crosspost or not to crosspost to other media?
