Whew!  Where did the month of October go?  Busy, busy, busy ….. hardly had time to sleep … let alone contemplate.  A busy end to the semester …  rounding off lectures, revision programmes and examination preparation.  Factor in the marking of tests, assignments, the odd workshop and ……… dealing with the many student queries as crunch time approaches, it has simply been hectic!!!

Compromised somewhat in my participation in the online course that began last month.  Missed a few online sessions but always followed through on what was happening.  It has been very informative though with some valuable input coming from our colleagues, and, I would like to think, from myself, during the odd inspired moment.  Examination marking looms ahead but I am sure that things will go a lot better with the course in the following weeks , now that lectures will not be taking up my time.

Already on Topic 4 and looking forward to leading discussions on the topic.  Slowly, but surely, I am re-thinking my approach to online teaching and learning.  Just never knew that there were such a variety of tools out there that can make our creative juices flow.  Wouldn’t it be nice to have more time to explore them?  Have no idea right now what Topic 4 is all about as we are still working on Topic 3 but ready for the challenge.
